Where Recimind Is Right Now — and What's Coming Next
If you've read the first two posts, you know what Recimind is and how it works. Here's an honest look at where things stand today.

What you can do in the app right now
The full core experience is working:
- Scan your fridge or ingredients and get a recipe in under a minute
- Edit the ingredient list before generating — add anything the AI missed
- Set your preferences — meal type, time, and any special requests
- Get a full recipe with a generated photo of the dish
- Save everything automatically — every recipe you generate goes to your recipe history
- Star your favorites so they're easy to find in your favorites list
- Browse your history and search through past recipes by name or ingredient
- Scan a physical recipe from a cookbook or recipe card and save it to your collection
- Use it in Norwegian or English — switch languages in settings whenever you want
Everything saves to your account so your recipe history is always there when you come back. See everything Recimind can do on the features page.

What I just finished
The most recent update added the ability to scan physical recipe cards and cookbook pages — you photograph them and the app turns them into the same clean, organized format as AI-generated recipes. Great if you have old family recipes written on cards that you want to save digitally.
I also made the history and favorites pages much faster to search. If you've generated a lot of recipes and want to find something specific, it's now quick and easy to filter and sort.

What's coming
A few things I'm working on for the next round:
- Meal planning — save recipes to a weekly plan and automatically get a shopping list for everything you need
- Sharing — the option to share a recipe with someone else with a simple link
- Desktop — the app is built for your phone, but I'm making sure it works just as well on a computer screen too

Want to try it?
The app is live and I'm letting in early users now. If you want access before the public launch, visit recimind.app and reach out — I'd love to hear what you think, and your feedback directly shapes what gets built next.
